Description
Sighting and photos (c) lisa_wynn. Field Notes - I’m a volunteer wildlife rescuer and licensed snake catcher and I got a call from an elderly gentleman saying there was a brown snake in his bathroom and he was terrified. It turned out to be this lovely and completely harmless green tree snake which is only brown when viewed from above; from the side you can see all its beautiful green and yellow colouring. No one knows how it got into his bathroom!. I released it into the bush near where it was found.
Note: This sighting was recorded on iNaturalist and may contain additional scientific observations.
