Coastal Carpet Python in Queensland (Nov 2025)

Coastal Carpet living under a bridge. I only got the worst photos ever before it went further under the bridge. I thought it was worth documenting because it had almost white eyes. Not unheard of but still pretty cool. It looks darker in the first set of photos due to shadows and distance, my head torch was getting dim. My phone flash pics give a better representation of the true head colour. It was quite light fawn colored with very little head patterning, but it had a lot more black patterning on the neck, mid body, and especially on the tail end of it.
